About the event

'The Song of Birds' will feature mostly Renaissance and Baroque works which have been inspired by bird song, including works by Antonio Vivaldi, William Williams; Marco Uccellini, Michael Henkel, William Cornysh, Thomas Ravenscroft and Claudio Monteverdi.


Ensemble Antiqua consists of Llewellyn Negrin (recorders), Christine Akerman (baroque violin and viola), Tim Lowe (guitar and lute) and Alexander Rodrigues (spinet and voice).
